The production of Hamza, in collaboration with the Ongi Etorri Errefuxiatuak association, and the deeply emotional nature of the narrative, was made possible through the closeness and intimacy created with the protagonist. We wanted to bring his story to the viewer in a sincere and unembellished manner, and to achieve this, beyond a production-based relationship for the short film, we decided to build a relationship of trust with Hamza.
At Konzéntrika Films, we love accessing these spaces of intimacy because it is through emotion that we manage to move the viewer and generate real change. However, we are also very aware that sustaining and narrating such personal and often difficult-to-digest stories entails a great responsibility.
